About us
Founder - Coach Cai
Coach Cai is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InsightEdu. He holds an MSc in Innovation from Singapore Management University and began his career at General Electric, a Fortune 500 company, where he led core operations and built high-performing teams. These senior roles gave him a deep understanding of how talent grows, and he has always mentored young people to uncover their potential and sharpen their skills.
Five years ago, when work and family pulled in opposite directions, he made the bold decision to step away from corporate life and focus on his two children’s learning and development. Drawing on their individual needs, he created a range of programmes—Little Tutors, Kids’ Theatre, Start-up Club and Money Smarts Camp—all designed to nurture logical thinking, confident communication, creativity and financial literacy. To date, he has personally guided more than 500 children and teenagers, helping them build core abilities in a relaxed, enjoyable setting.
A hands-on practitioner and thought-leader in children’s education and youth development, Coach Cai is also the author of the bestseller PSLE Isn’t Scary. He continually experiments with teaching methods and tech-enabled solutions so that children gain more ownership of their learning and can focus on their interests and strengths.
As the age of AI reshapes workplaces and talent needs worldwide, he believes that a structured, holistic education combined with personalised growth plans will equip the next generation to become the innovative, multi-talented individuals the future demands.

Team Member - EDU Advisors
Insight EDU Advisor’s Family Education Planners are a team of devoted professionals who share a genuine passion for education. Most hold degrees in education, psychology or related fields, and each must complete nearly two months of immersive training—spanning assessment theory, hands-on report interpretation and family-interview techniques—before passing a stringent final assessment to earn official Insight EDU Advisor's certification.
Every planner fully embraces our educational philosophy and assessment methodology, mastering every assessment dimension and report insight. With outstanding listening and communication skills, they deliver warm, practical guidance that families can act on straight away.
After each assessment, planners undergo multi-dimensional satisfaction checks, including Net Promoter Score. Our Customer Experience team continuously monitors their professionalism, clarity and follow-up efficiency; anyone who falls short is immediately retrained or, if need be, replaced, so our service remains at its highest standard.
Support continues well beyond the report. For three months, planners stay online to answer questions and, drawing on the data and each child’s unique growth profile, provide scientific, personalised next-step advice. Through this blend of rigorous expertise and genuine care, every child can discover the growth path that suits them best.

Why Choose Us
Unsure how home and school should work together
Typical scenario
Our solution
Faced with a disappointing test score, many parents rush to sign their child up for every available tuition class, pouring in time and cash yet seeing little improvement.
Assess ➜ Plan ➜ Act. We diagnose first and invest later, slashing costly trial-and-error so every hour and dollar goes to what truly works, leaving parents and children calm and confident.
Common Challenges
Avoiding blind tuition and wasted money
Which tasks belong at school, and which need practice at home? Most parents are unsure.
Your report pinpoints the key levers for family learning and highlights where professional support adds real value.
When a child falls behind, confidence dips and parents worry
Peers keep progressing; parents fret daily, “Where exactly is my child lagging?”
Post-assessment, parents hold a clear, actionable roadmap. Children see their own strengths, and—with Uncle Cai’s practical tips—set small goals and enjoy quick wins, rebuilding self-belief.
Hard to read a child and locate the real issue
Grades go up and down, moods swing; parents guess at “poor focus” or “lack of effort” yet lack solid data, often tackling the wrong problem.
Dual benchmarking provides clarity: first, a horizontal comparison against a large age-matched database; then, a vertical check against the child’s previous results to spot subtle shifts. Strengths, potential and gaps become quantifiable at a glance.
Unsure whether an assessment is genuine or just a sales pitch
A test billed as a “scientific diagnosis” ends with pages pushing “star tutors” and “crash courses”, leaving parents wondering if it’s about their child or about selling classes.
We erect a firewall between assessment and courses. Every metric is tied to normative data, and reports speak only of data and method—never of sales. Your report is a telescope and a compass, not a shopping trolley, empowering you to decide without hidden nudges.
